South Africa’s foreign-based players capped off another fairly great weekend.

Jermaine Seoposenwe – Portuguese Women’s Primeira Liga

The Banyana Banyana number 12 started the match and was hauled off in the 68th minute for SC Braga who made light of Boavista by thrashing them 7-0.

Darren Smith and Ayabulela Konqobe – Finnish Ykkonen

Both South African players once again formed part of Ekenas IF’s matchday squad, and it was Smith who continued his fine form in front of goal, netting a hat-trick as they hammered MP 3-0.

Smith, 24, has now taken his tally to 13 goals in 24 matches, with three assists across all competitions, while Konqobe has seven goals and five assists from the same number of games.

Refiloe Jane – Italian Serie A Women

‘Fifinho’ opened the scoring for her Italian side in the 23rd minute before they went on to convincingly win 3-0 and move third on the standings, three points adrift of league leaders Juventus Women.

Rhoda Mulaudzi – Belarusian Women’s Premier League

The former Mamelodi Sundowns goalpoacher continued her fine form in front of goal, scoring Dinamo-BGU’s second goal as they romped to a 4-1 drubbing of Zorka-BDU.

Dinamo have now won all their 19 matches, scoring a whopping 109 goals and conceding just three.

Thabo Cele – Taça de Portugal

Cele played the entire 90 minutes and provided an assist as CD Cova Piedade ran rampant of GRAP with a 4-1 thrashing.

Lars Veldwijk – South Korean K-2 League

The lanky South African striker featured the entire 90 minutes and grabbed the assist that led to the only goal of the game as Suwon FC claimed a 1-0 victory over Daejeon Hana Citizen.

In his last four matches, Veldwijk has scored three matches and provided two assists.

Thembi Kgatlana – Spanish Primera Division

With her side trailing 2-0, the Banyana Banyana star striker was introduced in the 69th minute, and was fouled in the box for a penalty that was converted by Maria Llompart Pons in 74th minute.

Kgatlana then netted the equalizer for Eibar in the 93rd minute to force a 2-2 draw and move to fifth on the league standings after two matches.

Lebo Moloto – USL Championship

Moloto featured the entire match for FC Tulsa who were held to a pulsating 2-2 draw by El Paso Locomotive.

Linda Motlhalo – Swedish Damallsvenskan

It was a bad day at the office for ‘Problem Child’ who was on the receiving end as Djurgarden IF lost 2-0 to Orebro.
