It was a weekend of mixed results for South Africa’s foreign contingency at their respective clubs.
Below, we take a look at how they performed for their teams:
Lars Veldwijk – South Korean K-League 1
The forgotten Bafana Bafana striker continued his red-hot form in front of goal, scoring his 18th goal of the season for Suwon FC as they defeated his former club Jeonbuk Motors 3-2.
Veldwijk has now directly been involved in an impressive 23 goals in 35 appearances for Suwon this campaign, having netted 18 strikes and providing a further 5 assists.

Lyle Foster – Belgium 1B Pro League
The former Orlando Pirates youngster featured for 80 minutes and netted a brace, as well as laid an assist for Westerlo, as his side brushed aside Lierse SK 5-1.
Liam Jordan – Danish 1st Division
The South African youth international was hauled off after 70 minutes for FC Helsingør as they hammered F. Amager 4-1.
Khaya Tshaka – England Reserve League
Tshaka, who is an upcoming 17-year-old star featured 60 minutes for Southampton’s U18 in their 3-0 trouncing of Tottenham Hotspur’s U18 side.
Lorenzo Gordinho – Denmark Superliga
The 26-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs defender played the full 90 minutes for Viborg FF who claimed a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Odense in the Danish League.
Kgotso Masangane – Sweden Division 1 Södra (3rd tier)
The unknown young South African played 90 minutes for Oskarshamns AIK as they won 2-0 against Tvaakers in a league encounter.
Mihlali Mayambela – Portugal Taça de Portugal
Following another feature for the young South African, Mayambela was on the losing end as SC Farense were handed a 3-1 defeat by Casa Pia.
Thulani Serero – UAE Arabian Gulf League
‘Cream’ featured the entire match for Al Jazira as they were thrashed 5-1 by Al Ain.
