This past weekend proved to be another fairly good one for South Africa’s foreign contingency who flew the country’s flag high.

Here’s a look at how they turned out for their respective teams abroad:

Jermaine Seopesenwe – Portuguese Campeonato

The Banyana Banyana midfield maestro started the match and lasted 65 minutes for SC Braga who hammered Gil Vicente 8-0.

Kobamelo Kodisang – Campeonato de Portugal

The former Bidvest Wits youngster featured for 73 minutes and netted his second goal of the season for SC Braga B who claimed a thumping 5-1 thrashing over Maraia de Fonte.

Gift Links – Danish Superliga

Links came off from the bench in the last 10 minutes of the match for AGF Aarhus as they thrashed Horsens 3-0.

Darren Smith & Ayabulela Konqobe – Finnish Ykkonen

The South African duo featured the entire match once again, and it was Smith who caught the headlines on the day, bagging a brace to take his tally for the season to 15 goals in 19 matches, for Ekenas IF who made light work of Akatemia with a 4-2 victory.

Thabo Cele – Liga Portugal 2SABSEG

Cele started and finished the match for Cova de Piadade who ran riot of Academico with a convincing 2-0 victory.

Luther Singh – Portugal LigaNos

Singh lasted 78 minutes and grabbed an assist for the opening goal, in Paços de Ferreira’s 2-1 victory over Santa Clara.

Percy Tau – Belgian Jupiler Pro League

Tau started the match and netted his third goal of the season for Anderlecht, who were however pegged back having led 2-0 at halftime, with OH Leuven fighting for a 2-2 draw later on in the game.

Thulani Serero – United Arab Emirates Arabian Gulf League

“Cream” played the entire match for Al Jazira who played to a 1-1 draw against Al Nasr.

Hendrick Ekstein – Azerbaijan Premier League

The former Kaizer Chiefs dribbling wizard featured for 90 minutes for Sabail FC who played out to a 1-1 stalemate against Kesle.

Keagan Dolly – French Ligue 1

The Bafana Bafana winger came off the bench in the 73rd minute for Montpellier who earned a credible 1-1 draw against giants AS Monaco.

Thibang Phete – Portuguese LigaNos

The newly recruited Bafana Bafana defender played the entire match for SAD Belenenses who were held to a 0-0 draw by Moreirense.

Liam Jordan – Danish Second Division

Jordan came off the bench at the start of the second period and netted his second goal of the season, but was on the receiving end as HB Koge went down 3-1 to Hobro.

Lars Veldwijk – South Korean K-2 League

The forgotten Bafana Bafana man featured the entire match for Suwon FC and scored his fourth goal of the season, but it was not enough as they narrowly lost out 4-3 to Jeonnam Dragons.
