The 28-year-old Serbian marksman netted 14 goals in close to 30 matches for the Glamour Boys in his debut season, and Abha FC, who campaign in the Saudi Professional League, are said to have tabled an official bid of USD 400 000 on Monday.

Reports have further suggested that because this is the first offer the Saudi club have put in writing to Amakhosi, there are chances that it could be improved as they are serious about acquiring the Serbian marksman’s signature.

It’s unknown at this stage if Chiefs will be listening to the offer for Nurkovic, especially after they already tabled an improved new three-year deal to him following inquiries in his services from a North African club last month, thought to be Al Ahly, now coached by former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane.
