Veldwijk, 29, who joined the South Korean side from K-League defending champions Jeonbuk Motors in July this year, had gone over 400 minutes without finding the back of the net.
The South African international scored both goals as Suwon FC defeated Chungnam Asan 2-0 to move into second spot just two points behind league leaders Jeju.

Veldwijk is yet to feature for Bafana Bafana under Molefi Ntseki, and is hoping that having found his goalscoring boots will help him force his way back into the squad ahead of the friendlies against Namibia and Zambia next month.
