CAF has since confirmed that the first registration for Interclub 2020/21 season will commence from 21 October – 10 November 2020, with the second registration period set to take place from 11-30 November 2020.

This means the preliminary round of the fixtures will be from 27-29 November 2020 and 4-6 December 2020, while the second preliminary round will be from 22-23 December 2020 and 5-6 January 2021.

Amakhosi are currently without a coach after opting to show German tactician Ernst Middendorp the exit door alongside his assistant Shaun Bartlett, after they succumbed the league title to Sundowns on the final day of the season.

Club chairman Kaizer Motaung Snr has revealed that they will be finding a replacement before preseason starts, with former Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt the current front-runner for the vacant Amakhosi hotseat.
