Despite having made most his appearances from the bench during the current campaign, Kaizer Chiefs dribbling wizard Dumisani Zuma is said to be on his way to Belgium next season.

Zuma, 25, has played a bit-part role for Ernst Middendorp’s charges during the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season, and could see his frustrating spell on the bench come to an end, should reports linking him to Belgium Jupiler Pro League outfit Sint-Truiden turn out to be true.

The Belgian top-flight outfit are said to have tabled an offer of between R19 – R29 million for the South African international, though he signed a four-year contract extension with Amakhosi just last season.

His agent, Basia Michaels, has since confirmed that no official offer has been made for her client.

“The bid would be made directly to Kaizer Chiefs and Chiefs would then inform me if they accept it [but] nobody has touched base with me about anything,” Michaels was quoted as saying by KickOff.com.

When contacted for confirmation if the club had received an offer for Zuma, Chiefs’ Corporate Communications Manager Vina Maphosa declined to comment about player movements.

“Focus is on the last two games to go. No comment about player moves at this stage,” Maphosa said.

Another report in Belgium further added that Zuma will be signing a three-year deal with the Belgian outfit sometime next week, after the Premier Soccer League (PSL) comes to a conclusion this coming weekend.
