The Dube Birds, who came into the match atop of the National First Division standings, hammered Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 3-0 at Makhulong Stadium on Sunday afternoon to seal their passage to topflight football for the 2020/21 campaign.

Brandon Truter’s charges opened the scoring through on loan Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Given Thibedi, before a brace from Kagiso Malinga completed the rout on the afternoon.
Second-placed Ajax Cape Town also managed a 3-0 win against Mbombela United, but lost out on the automatic passage due to goal difference after they finished level on 57 points with Maswaiswai.
The Urban Warriors and TTM will compete in the Promotion play-offs alongside a team that finishes 15th in the PSL.
Swallows were relegated from the PSL in 2015, and then again from the second tier in 2016, before bouncing back via buying another club status.
For their promotion efforts, Swallows were also gifted a cool R3 million cheque.
