Switchbacks looked dead and buried after being down 4-0 at halftime to Austin Bold FC, but the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder’s introduction in the 46th minute turned things around for the hosts.
Lebese came off the bench at the start of the second half to grab an assist for Switchbacks, before unleashing a venomous strike from 30 yards out for the 4-4 equalizer in the 83rd minute, as his side became the first team in USL Championship history to come back from being four goals down.
