THE Ring Magazine has put together a list of the top 10 heavyweight boxers in the world with The Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, earning the American boxing magazine’s highest commendation.

With the anticipated all-British bout between Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury scheduled to take place next year, and the pending instalment between Fury and Deontay Wilder also in the pipelines, the heavyweight division has reignited its status as the popular weight class in boxing.

As for the top-ranked fighters in the world at the moment, Britains Fury tops of the list, after handing America’s Deontay Wilder a thrashing of note when the pair crossed paths at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in February. Further to his credit, Fury stands as the only man unbeaten on the having been the subject of a controversial draw in his previous fight with Wilder.

Anthony Joshua comes second place after regaining the WBA, IBF, IBO, and WBO titles after condemning the Mexican-American, Andy Ruiz Jr, to a loss in their rematch in Suadi Arabia in December last year. The most surprising placement is Wilder, who comes in fourth behind another Britain, Dillian Whyte. Here is the full list below.
