The Blues saw their chances of finishing inside the top four hang on a knife-edge after suffering a heavy 5-3 defeat to champions Liverpool in midweek.

Wolves registered a hard-fought 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, and are looking to finish even stronger by upsetting Chelsea who hammered them 5-2 in the return fixture earlier this season.

Probable Line-ups:

Team news

Frank Lampard most probably regrets leaving Christian Pulisic on the bench in the defeat to Liverpool, and will surely give the American attacker a start.

Callum Hudson-Odoi could be a surprise starter against Wolves having impressed the Chelsea boss coming off the bench in recent matches.

Another player who could also be pushing for a start is Tammy Abraham, who netted a hat-trick against Wolves back in September, and also scored against Liverpool.

Nuno Espirito Santo is in most likelihood going to have a clean bill of health ahead of their last game of the 2019/20 campaign.

Match facts

The Blues have not lost to Wolves in their last six home matches across all competitions, and will look to use past stats in their favour to grind out an all-important win.

Chelsea need just a point to stay in fourth, but could lose and even make it, but will need Manchester United to win away to Leicester City.
