The Buccaneers have reportedly landed the signature of ‘Tyson’ on a five-year deal, and are now said to be on the move to finish what they started with SuperSport United’s top goal scorer.

Grobler has been in fine fettle this season which made him a target for both Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, with his representative Gary Cassisa revealing that although Matsatsantsa exercised the added option on his client’s deal, they are still yet to give him what they promised.

“Look, Brad was promised that he would receive an improved contract from SuperSport, which they haven’t done as yet. The only thing they have done is exercise his option, and based on his current performance there will be clubs interested at the end of the season if SuperSport don’t come to the party,” Cassisa told SoccerLaduma

“So we’ll see what happens at the end of the season, for now he’s focused on ending this season strongly and helping SuperSport finish as high as possible in the league,” he said at the time.

The 32-year-old striker has been doing tremendously well having scored 15 goals across all competitions already for the Tshwane outfit.

The Soweto giants have also been linked with several other players ahead of the transfer window, with the likes of Richard Ofori, Thabang Monare, Brandon Petersen, and Deon Hotto all making the list as the Soweto side looks to strengthen their squad for the new season.
