Bafana striker completes move to South Korean K-2 outfit

Bafana Bafana marksman Lars Veldwijk has been snapped up by South Korean K-2 league leaders Suwon FC from Hyundai Jeonbuk Motors on a permanent basis.

Veldwijk, 28, leaves the South Korean K-League champions barely six months after joining them from Dutch Eredivisie outfit Sparta Rotterdam on a three-year deal.

The lanky Bafana striker will now be looking to get more minutes under his belt and aid Suwon to top-flight promotion next season.

Suwon are currently at the summit of the league standings with 19 points from 10 matches in the 10-team league.
