Gift Links – Danish SuperLiga
The 21-year-old South African international was the man of the moment after coming off the bench in the 65th minute to help AGF Aarhus pull off a shock 1-0 victory over defending champions FC Copenhagen at home.
Links was also named as the Man of the Match despite playing just 25 minutes.
Kgotso Masangane – Latvian Higher League
The little known South African scored his first goal of the season, and provided an assist as FS Metta ran out convincing 3-0 victors over Tukums.
Bambanani Mbane – Belarusian Premier League
The Banyana Banyana international continues to work her way back from injury, and missed her third straight match as Dinamo-BGU thrashed Dnepr Mogilev 3-0 to stay top of the league standings.
Kamohelo Mokotjo – English Championship
The Bafana Bafana midfielder missed the clash as Brentford FC hammered Wigan Athletic 3-0, with Said Benrahma scoring a hat-trick.
Brentford stay in third place, and are now just six points adrift of league leaders Leeds United.
Liam Jordan – Danish Second Division
Jordan was a 71st minute substitute for HB Koge who held Hvidore to a 1-1 draw away from home.
Darren Smith & Ayabulela Konqobe – Finnish Second Division
The South African duo featured the entire match for IF Ekenas in their goalless draw against VPS.
Bantu Mzwakali – Swedish Second Division
The former Ajax Cape Town winger started the match and was substituted in 61st minute as IK Brage played to a 0-0 draw against Halmastad.
Lars Veldwijk – South Korean K-League
The Bafana Bafana striker was a second half substitute for 10 men Jeonbuk Motors who suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Sangji Sangmu, with their lead at the top now cut to just one point.
