West Ham United vs Chelsea – team news, match facts and probable lineups

Relegation-threatened West Ham United are looking to put behind them a run of three consecutive defeats and ease their relegation woes when they take on an in-form Chelsea side at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Hammers last recorded a victory against Southampton back in February (a 3-1 win), but have since lost to Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.

Influential player Robert Snodgrass is set to miss out, while there are possible returns for Arthur Masuaku and Sebastien Haller.

Angelo Ogbonna will be back for this match-up while the dangerous duo of Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson are both pushing for starts in this highly anticipated clash.

Fikayo Tomori has been ruled out for the third game running. Andreas Christensen is likely to be replaced by Kurt Zouma who put in a great shift against Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-final win at the weekend.

Christian Pulisic, who has been in red-hot form for the Blues was forced off with a knock in the FA Cup win, and could be excused, while Ross Barkley is expected to be rewarded with a start after coming off the bench to score the winner against the Foxes.
