JUVENTUS’ Cristiano Ronaldo has proven he has a propensity for extravagant hairdos more than most on the football pitch. The Portuguese star has been spending time sailing off the shores of Portofino in Italy with his 26-year-old girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Ronaldo showed off his new hairstyle alongside his teammate Juan Cuadrado. The picture shows his hair appearing to be longer and more curly than has been seen in the past and standing. It appears Ronaldo had taken the snap after a Juve training session. Ronaldo uploaded the snap for his 227 million followers on Instagram alongside the caption: “What do you think about my look like my brother Panita?!”
The fun snap comes after Georgina, who has been known to take on the role of Ronaldo’s personal hairstylist – more so during the pair’s lockdown period spent in Ronaldo’s hometown of Madeira – once again sparked rumours the couple are engaged. The model took to her own Instagram on Sunday to share an image of herself sunbathing on a yacht during their Portofino trip, but caught attention by sporting a massive diamond ring on her wedding finger.
The former retail assistant wrote a caption in Spanish which in English translated to: “Great is the one who does not need to turn off the light of others to shine #love #goodvibes.” The newly-surfaced rumours followers similar reports seven months ago that Ronaldo and Rodriguez had secretly wed in a low-key ceremony in Morocco.
The pair started dating in 2016 and share a two-year-old daughter, while the athlete is also a father to nine-year-old Cristiano Jr, and two-year-old twins Mateo and Eva, who were carried by a surrogate. Georgina added weight to growing rumours of an engagement two years ago, when she wore a sparkling ring on her wedding finger as she cheered the footballer on at the World Cup in Moscow.
Rodriguez recently admitted it’s ‘not easy’ being in a relationship with someone as famous as him but would not change a thing. The mother-of-one told The Sun: ‘Being the partner of someone so famous is not easy but I would not change it for the world. What I feel for him is stronger than anything, any kind of pressure. Together we are stronger and there is a mutual admiration.”
