The 28-year-old centre-back had an impressive season with the Mangaung-based club which saw him sign a loan extension for two more months.

According to his agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, Chabalala says that he wishes to make the most of the last few months he will spend with Phunya Sele Sele because he wants to return to Bucs after he was reported to have impressed coach Josef Zinnbauer.

“The loan deal will now come to an end in August but Justice is not a quitter, he is a fighter and a good defender,” his representative told KickOff.com.

“He still has unfinished business at Pirates. His mission is to fight for that. He still has one year left on his contract with Pirates so his first option is to go back there and fight.”

As things stand, the former Free State Stars defender is believed to be wanted permanently at Celtic after impressing the management, however, his agent refused to confirm the speculation.

“When he joined Celtic we told the management that Chabalala is a fighter and I’m not surprised that they’ve seen that,” the agent added.
