With the Premier Soccer League (PSL) having been given the greenlight to resume football action, as outlined by the government on Wednesday, Amakhosi will once again become the hunted as they look to consolidate their spot at the summit of the League standings.

The Naturena-based outfit currently sit on 48 points, four ahead of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns who have one game in hand, with less than 10 matches still left to play before the 2019/20 campaign comes to a conclusion.

Katsande, 34, who has been stand-in captain in the absence of regular club captain Itumeleng Khune, insists that they are firmly focused on their task at hand, and are not worried about the chasing pack.

“Focusing on your path – I think that’s the most important thing. The guys are calm, we’re not even talking about others doing this and that,” Katsande said in an interview with KCTV.

“We are only focused on our job, having fun and working hard, and listening to what the coach wants us to do.

“What we can just say to the supporters is, ‘Just keep calm and have belief. Have faith in us. We still have control, and we’re still going to have control until the finish line’,” he added.

When league action resumes, Amakhosi will take on Bidvest Wits.
