Portugal and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is shockingly rumoured to be bracing for a Juventus exit at the end of the season. This is what beckons to happen according to Italy’s Radio Rossonera.
Rumours began to emerge in May, while the league season stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic, that the former Madrid man was contemplating leaving the club. Ronaldo has scored 53 goals in 75 appearances for Juventus since joining the Serie A giants from Real in 2018.
Juventus broke its all-time record fee for signing a player with the acquisition of Ronaldo, before going on to win their eighth consecutive domestic league title. Radio Rossonera, however, did not shed light on where the Portuguese would be heading. But at 35-years-old, it is hard to see Ronaldo going anywhere for a record fee, even by his class.
What is expected, is that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will have many big clubs lining up to scoop him up, with reports previously linking him up with a move to Paris Saint-Germain over in France, or even Major League Soccer (MLS) to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami. Whatever the case, the football world will be listening, watching and waiting, all with bated breath, on the chapter to come for one of the best footballers the modern world has seen.
