Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Daniel ‘Masaro’ Matsau reckons Amakhosi are competing at the same level and their squad is as good as Mamelodi Sundowns’.

Despite Sundowns’ recent dominance in South African football, Matsau still believes that Amaksosi contains the same quality, while pointing out that Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande may need some help in the middle of the park and that the club should still sign a few players.
“Ja hey they started well, they are doing well at the moment you know, they signed quality players,” Matsau told KickOff.
“Even though they are still lacking here and there, for me they’ve got a good team, a balanced one. They still only need one or two players in the middle. Attacking good, middle good.
“You can see now they are competing with Sundowns. You know Sundowns, they’ve got a balanced team. So Chiefs, you can see they are trying to build from that. They need only two players to help [Willard] Katsande.”
