Desiree Ellis’ side remains in the top three behind Nigeria and Cameroon in Africa, with three more places to go before breaking into the World’s top 50.

It’s been three months since the rankings were last released, and Banyana have made so much progress ever since, with Ellis pleased with the boost up the table this month in the first rankings release of 2020.

On the other hand, Haiti made the biggest positive move this time around as they moved four places to 64th, while Panama had the toughest time, falling seven places to 60th.

It now remains to be seen how long it will be before they are able to get back out on the field again due to the ongoing battle with COVID-19.
