Chiefs fans have pleaded with head coach Ernst Middendorp all season to hand the 24-year-old more starting berth appearances under his belt, especially considering how has he fared as an impact player.

Zuma has made just two first-team starting appearances in the league, coming on from the bench 17 times, which has seen him clock 763 minutes.

Despite his lack of regular action in the starting berth, the former Bloemfontein Celtic attacker has excelled in having the most goals scored or created off the bench.

In total, he has three goals to his name, with a further three assists‚ and all his goals came in matches that Chiefs won by a huge margin and kept clean sheets too.

‘Msholozi’ scored a brace in their 2-0 win over Chippa United, a match he started and completed 90 minutes, and then got his other strike in the Glamour Boys’ 4-0 thrashing of PSL rookies Stellenbosch FC.
