Head coach Molefi Ntseki is expected to make wholesale changes to his squad that beat Sudan 1-0 in their last match at home.
Having lost their opening match 2-0 to Ghana, South Africa bounced back to narrowly edge Sudan, and will now be looking to keep pressure on the Black Stars when they take on Sao Tome and Principe, who are expected to be the whipping boys of the group.
A statement released by SAFA this week read:
“Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki will announce his squad to face Sao Tome e Principe in back to back Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers scheduled for later this month.”
Ntseki will announce his latest squad at SAFA house on Thursday morning at 10h00.
