Abrahams, 23, who hails from Cape Town, netted his 10th league goal of the season for KV Westerlo who climbed to the top of the Belgium Proximus League (Second Division) as they continue to push for automatic promotion to top-flight football next season.

Abrahams started the match and lasted 77 minutes, netting his side’s third goal in the 42nd minute, as they saw off Lokeren 3-2.

It was also Abrahams’ 10th goal in 17 outings this season, which sees him second on the league’s top goalscorers’ chart behind OH Leuven’s Thomas Henry who is on 13.
