The 28-year-old has featured in 10 of the Buccaneers’ last 11 matches, as they moved up the Absa Premiership standings into second place behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs

“Mshumba”, as Mabaso is known in football circles, is likely to sit out the clash against Lidoda Duvha when Pirates travel to Limpopo for their tricky tie at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The former Chilli Boys defender was forced off early with an injury and was subsequently substituted in their defeat to Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup last weekend.
