Man United goalkeeper survives near-fatal car crash!

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was lucky to escape unharmed after being involved in a car crash near the club’s training ground in Carrington on Monday.

The Argentine shot-stopper, who has been deputizing for the number one David de Gea, reportedly smashed up his Lamborghini worth £170,000 (over R3 million) on the Carrington Spur Road.

Reports are that the accident could’ve been caused by cold and icy conditions across Manchester with temperatures hovering above freezing, with drivers needing to have been particularly careful on the roads.

Romero becomes the second Argentine to be involved in a car accident after his national teammate Sergio Aguero also smashed Range Rover SUV back in October 2019.
