PSL January transfers so far!

With the Premier Soccer League January transfer window in full swing, we look at clubs who have reinforced their squads halfway through the season with new confirmed signings.

With just a little over 10 matches left for the 2019/20 campaign to come to a close, respective teams are looking to finish strong with additional members to their squads.

Below are the PSL teams and the changes they ave made during this transfer window:

Chippa United

The Chilli Boys confirmed the signing of duo Thokozani Sekotlong, who was a free agent after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns and Thabiso Lebitso, who graduated from the Nedbank Ke Yona Team.

Kaizer Chiefs

The Glamour Boys have confirmed a loan move for winger Kabelo Mahlasela to struggling Polokwane City after agreeing with Rise & Shine that the player moves on a six-month deal from January 2020 until June 2020.

Amakhosi also confirmed their separation with duo Lorenzo Gordinho who has joined Bidvest Wits and Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei whose contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Chiefs have since brought on-board Kenyan international midfielder Anthony Akumu from Zambian giants Zesco United on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Mamelodi Sundowns

The Absa Premiership champions confirmed that they had parted ways with Bafana Bafana international Tokelo Rantie after he reportedly went AWOL from the club for a month.

Cape Town City

The Citizens confirmed the signing of Mduduzi Mdantsane from Baroka FC on a three-and-a-half-year deal that will run until 2023.

Promoted Stellies confirmed the signing of duo Ovidy Karuru from AmaZulu and Granwald Scott from Bidvest Wits.

Usuthu confirmed the signing of Slovakian striker Milos Lacny and Siphelele Magubane from Golden Arrows on a three-year-deal.

Baroka FC

Bakgaga signed trio Ethen Sampson from New Mexico United, USA, Thamsanqa Masiya from Moroka Swallows, and Nhlanhla Mgaga from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

Bidvest Wits

Bidvest Wits have completed the signing of Cameroonian striker Bienvenu Eva Nga from Costa Do Sol. 

The Students announced the signing of Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho on a two-and-half-year deal.

TheCleverBoys also signed young South African left-winger Kgaogelo Rathete Sekgota from Portuguese club Vitória F.C.

SuperSport United

SuperSport have officially announced the signing of Uganda international midfielder Moses Waiswa on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Ugandan Premier League side Vipers SC.

It has also been confirmed that Stellenbosch FC star striker Iqraam Rayners has signed a pre-contract and is set to join the Tshwane giants at the beginning of 2020/2021 season.
