Mamelodi Sundowns skipper Hlompho Kekana has hinted on his future with the Absa Premiership champions ahead of his contract expiration.
Kekana’s contract with Sundowns is set to expire in June this year, which makes the Bafana Bafana international eligible to sign a pre-contract with any team of his choice.
The 34-year-old midfielder has however revealed his desire to continue with his football career at Chloorkop next season, confirming that he is currently negotiating with Masandawana for a possible contract extension.
“I can’t talk now because we are busy with negotiations. It’s a place I always wanted to be and I am enjoying my football here,” said Kekana as quoted by KickOff.Com
The Limpopo-born player, who was recently honoured for his 300-plus games played for the Tshwane giants, is not the only person who is currently negotiating a new deal as coach Pitso Mosimane is also on the same boat with his contract due by the end of the season.
