At just 23, Onana has already established himself as one of the best young goalkeepers across Europe, reaching the Europa League final in 2017 where they lost out to Manchester United, and helping Ajax reach the last four of the UEFA Champions League last season.

Speaking to Onze Mondial, the Cameroon international shot-stopper, who refused to mention the name of the club, spoke of the events that unraveled between his agent and the club’s sporting director.

Onana has racked up 116 appearances for Ajax since being promoted from Jong Ajax in 2016, and aided the red and white to the Johan Cruyff Shield as well as league and cup double last season.
