Dribbling wizard Kabelo Mahlasela, who has failed to leave an impression since joining the Glamour Boys in 2018, is the latest player at Chiefs expected to be offloaded during the current window period after falling down the pecking order.

According to Soccer Laduma, Mahlasela’s former club Bloemfontein Celtic as well as Limpopo outfit Polokwane City, who are managed by his former mentor Clinton Larsen, have inquired about the player’s availability.

“Kabelo is in a position now where he needs to be playing, and Kaizer Chiefs have been very understanding of his situation. Both Celtic and Polokwane are currently talking to the club, and only when – or if – an agreement is reached there can we look at the next step, ” Tshepo Mabona of Viasport Agency told Soccer Laduma.

Prior to joining Chiefs, the club’s fans are said to have played a major role in persuading the club’s management in landing the speedy winger, however it does not seem to have paid off as handsomely as the Amakhosi faithful would have anticipated.
