It was a good weekend for Mzansi players abroad this past weekend with all players involved getting game time under their belts.

Percy Tau – Belgium First Division A

The 25-year-old Bafana Bafana international was among the goals for Club Brugge who thrashed KV Mechelen 3-0 to stretch their lead to eight points at the top of the Jupiler Pro League standings.

Tau netted his fourth goal of the campaign in the 28th minute and then provided an assist moments later.

Luther Singh – Portuguese Primeira Liga

Singh was on the winning side, playing the entire 90 minutes as Moreirense pulled off a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Belenenses.

Kamohelo Mokotjo – English Championship

Brentford FC played to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Fulham, with Mokotjo featuring the entire match as the Bees moved to fourth position on the log standings.

Bongani Zungu – French Ligue 1

“Ben 10” was brought on in the last 15 minutes for Amiens SC who could only manage a 1-1 stalemate with Dijon.

Kgosietsile Ntlhe – English League Two

The young Bafana Bafana left-back got 90 minutes under his belt, and provided an assist as Scunthorpe United forced a 2-2 draw with Colchester United.

Hendrick Ekstein – Azerbaijan Premier League

Despite featuring the whole game, the former Kaizer Chiefs star could not help his side avoid defeat, going down 3-0 to Gabal in the first leg of the Azerbaijan Cup.

“Pule” and his teammates now have a mammoth task to overturn the result in order to progress to the next stage.

Lyle Foster – Belgium First Division A

Base anchors Cercle Brugge lost for the third straight match running, going down 3-0 to Charleroi with Foster coming on from the bench.
