According to Voetbalkrant, a Belgium newspaper, Turkish SuperLig outfit Fenerbahçe are courting the pint-sized attacker and are looking to snatch him away from Brugge on a permanent deal.

Tau, 25, is still contracted to English Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion, but his future at the club still hangs in the balance due to work permit issues, which prompted the club to sent him away on a two-season loan spell.

Turkish publication Akit, has further revealed that Tau is seen as a direct replacement for forward Vedat Muriqi who has caught the attention of Tottenham Hotspur and in-form Leicester City.

The Witbank-born speedster has been on the scoresheet on three occasions for Brugge this term, with six assists in 21 matches across all competitions for the Belgium First Division log leaders.
