Gauteng Community Safety MEC Faith Mazibuko kicked off the annual observation in Johannesburg where she unveiled Ikhaya Lethemba Gender-Based Violence legacy booklet which profiles life experiences of beneficiaries of the shelter’s services and their road to success.

Following the Gender Based Violence (GBV) thrusting into the spotlight in early August, hashtags, movements, marches and film productions garnered much support from both men and women calling for the lives and safety of women and children to be taken seriously by the South African government.

The campaign will be launched at Sky View Rooftop, Sandton under the theme Enough is Enough – 365 to end Gender Based Violence.
