With the midfielder’s contract with Amakhosi set to expire at the end of the season, a move could be possible for the 30-year-old midfielder who played a total of 13 games for the Glamour Boys this season.

According to the club’s communication manager Vina Maphosa, the rumours will make the club to make any harsh decisions as they are not in a hurry to discuss the player’s contract.

“No, we don’t have a situation. Nothing at all at Chiefs. We are reading about it also. Nothing, nothing leader,” Maphosa told KickOff.com.

When Maphosa was asked if there was a possibility of the player leaving the Naturena-based club by the end of the season, he responded that he did not know anything about the reports thus it is had for him to answer.

“I don’t know, I don’t know. We don’t know anything about what you are asking leader. We are reading about it just like you… from ourselves, we don’t have anything to issue. We don’t have any information about that story.”

“No, we don’t talk about contracts of the players in the media before we engage the players, we don’t do that,” he replied.

“When we talk on a contract of a player it’s when a contract is ending or when it’s signed or renewed. That’s the only time will issue a statement.”
