Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe 2019!

Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi stunned in Atlanta, USA on the Miss Universe stage and walked away with the crown.

The Eastern Cape-born beauty defied a lot of stereotypes when she won the Miss SA pageant in August this year, and overcome even more challenges when she landed stateside for the Miss Universe event.

But the 26-year-old beauty managed to beat out nearly 90 other women from various countries in the annual competition to be crowned queen of the universe.

Zozibini is the third South African to win the Miss Universe crown. The first was Margaret Gardiner in 1978 and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in won the title in 2017.
