Lebogang Mothiba – French Ligue 1
The Bafana Bafana frontman scored for the second game running as RC Strasbourg rallied from a goal down to thrash Toulouse 4-2 at home.
“Lebo” has now taken his tally to four goals in 15 outings this campaign, and is well on course to equal his record of nine league goals achieved last season.
Percy Tau – Belgium First Division A
Tau started from the bench, coming on in the 81st minute as Club Brugge narrowly saw off Sint-Truiden 2-1 to stretch their lead at the top to seven points after 17 matches, and have played a match less than second-placed Standard Liege.
Lars Veldwijk – Dutch Eredivisie
Veldwijk was an unused substitute for Sparta Rotterdam who were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Heracles in the Dutch top-flight division.
Lyle Foster – Belgium First Dvision A
The young South African striker was hauled off with 20 minutes left for Cercle Brugge who were beaten 2-1 by KRC Genk.
Luther Singh – Portuguese Primeira Liga
Despite featuring the entire fixture, Singh was on the losing side, with Moreirense succumbing to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of giants Sporting Lisbon.
Hendrick Ekstein – Azerbaijan Premier League
After two back-to-back victories in their past three matches, “Pule” was on the receiving end as Sabah FC were beaten 2-0 by Neftci at home.
Kamohelo Mokotjo – English Championship
“Kamo” could not help his side as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday, with Brentford FC slipping to ninth on the log standings.
