The ANC in Tshwane has accused the Democratic Alliance (DA) of having committed electoral fraud over the citizenship of Sheila Senkubuge.

Senkubuge’s citizenship prior to the 2016 local government elections has once again taken a centre stage.

The ANC has once again questioned Senkubuge’s citizenship and has called the DA to come clean about her citizenship.

” How was Sheila registered, who submitted the application of Sheila to the IEC, DA must answer, Kgosi Maepa, the ANC Tshwane chairperson said.

” Here Sheila is no longer an issue, she resigned. The issue is DA and DA people should have known better.”

Maepa claims that the former Member of Mayoral Committee on Transport was registered on the Independent Electoral Commission even though she did not have a South African identity document.

” Miss Sheila should pay back all the money she earned in council since 2016 to the day she resigned,” Maepa said.

Senkubuge resigned earlier this month after revelations of a sex audio with former mayor Stevens Mokgalapa.

The DA is yet to respond to the ANC’s demands and allegations.
