As it has been the case before, it is highly expected that Myeni will not be attending the proceedings this morning.

Myeni’s legal team wants the previous board of SA Airways to be part of the case for her directorship delinquency case.

Myeni argues if OUTA, the organisation that wants her to be declared a delinquent, wants to declare her delinquent director, it should also declare all the directors she served with at SA Airways delinquent.

The court will make a ruling on whether the other former executives at SA Airways will form part of the application.

Myeni, who is currently chairperson of the Jacob Zuma Foundation, is seen as having played a part in the collapse of the ailing airways.

Judge Ronel Tolmay, who is presiding over the case, had previously stated that she will not allow this case to drag forever.

If Myeni’s application fails, she will go on trial early next year.
