Lebogang Mothiba – French Ligue 1

With the international break upon us, Mothiba’s goalscoring return couldn’t have come at a better time after the Bafana Bafana striker netted twice in RC Strasbourg 4-1 hammering of Nimes.

Kamohelo Mokotjo – English Championship

‘Kamo’ was another Bafana international who put in a great shift for Brentford FC, scoring in the 70th minute as well as bagging an assist as they thrashed Wigan Athletic 3-1.

Mihlali Mayambela – Portuguese Segunda Liga

Mayambela continued his ever-presence featured for SC Farense as they beat Academica 2-1 to extend their lead at the top of the league standings.

Lyle Foster – Belgium Second Division

The national U23 striker featured for the entire game as Cercle Brugge picked up their first maximum points of the campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph over Sint-Truiden on Saturday night.

Lebogang Phiri – French Ligue 2

The EA Guingamp midfielder played the entire 90 minutes as they played to a 1-1 draw against Ajjacio.

Percy Tau – Belgium First Division A

After starting on the bench in the club’s past few matches, Tau was drafted into the starting line-up as Club Brugge fell to their first defeat of the season, going down 2-1 to Royal Antwerp.

Lars Veldwijk – Dutch Eredivisie

The Bafana Bafana frontman returned to scoring form, netting his fourth league goal of the season, but could not help Sparta Rotterdam claim maximum points as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Heerenveen.

Luther Singh – Portuguese Primeira Liga

Singh came face-to-face with another fellow South African Thibang Phete as Moreirense played to a pulsating 3-3 draw against Famalicao.

Bongani Zungu – French Ligue 1

‘Ben 10’ started the match but Amiens SC suffered a heavy 3-1 defeat to Stade Reims on Sunday.
