The burly striker is slowly getting back to form, and though he didn’t score, he assisted the only goal of the game as RC Strasbourg claimed a huge 1-0 win over Nice.
Hendrick Ekstein – Azerbaijan Premier League
‘Pule’ kept his place in the team after scoring last time out. This time around, the former Kaizer Chiefs dribbling wizard featured the entire 90 minutes and provided an assist as Sabah FC played to an entertaining 2-2 draw against Zira FC.
Percy Tau – Belgian First Division A
Tau was hauled off after 50 minutes as Club Brugge rallied back to claim a hrad-fought 1-1 draw against rivals Standard Liege and stay top to maintain their unbeaten run this campaign.
Luther Singh – Portuguese Primeira Liga
Singh pulled off a Man-of-the-Match performance for Moreirense in their 1-1 stalemate against Boavista.
Keanin Ayer – Swedish Second Division
The South African featured the entire match as Vaderbergs Bois could only manage a 1-1 draw with IF Brommapojka, and are now just a point away from securing promotion to the first tier next season.
Lebo Phiri – French Ligue 2
Despite providing an assist, Phiri could unfortunately not help his side claim maximum points as they went down 2-1 to Clermont.
