Rantie’s representative Kgori Dinho Makoro gave out a statement about the player for the first time after his signing to Soccer Laduma.

“Yes it is true… Tokelo ‘TK’ Rantie has signed with Mamelodi Sundowns. I can only thank Coach Pitso (Mosimane) who gave ‘TK’ a chance when everyone else had written him off.

“Yes, ‘TK’ did have personal problems, but that is all behind him now – my client just wants to play football and enjoy the game. Once again thanks to Coach Pitso and also KB (Rangoaga – Sundowns fitness coach).”
