Tembisa joins the looting trend – Can we blame the government?

It seems like looting has become a trend in South Africa. Tembisa has now fallen victim to this horrific trend.

According to reports, the looting was set up to avenge the murdered taxi driver who was killed in Pretoria last week. However, some believe that this has nothing to do with the deceased taxi driver, instead, people only want to destroy and steal.

Meanwhile, most South Africans are blaming unemployment and poor governance in the country,

Marxists, a Twitter user wrote: “SA is on a ticking bomb, should President Cyril Ramaphosa fail then I’m afraid the bomb will explode. Foreign Nationals are victims of our government’s failure to address unemployment. SAn citizens have no right looting n attacking foreigners. It’s a sad day.”

In August, Soweto’s foreign-owned shops were looted in the middle of the night by residents.
