The former Orlando Pirates forward was linked to a move overseas after scoring 16 goals last season and being awarded as the PSL highest goal scorer award, however the move failed to materialized.

With the transfwer window closing on Monday, Soccoia will be happy to have Musonda and Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana in his team.

Madagascan midfielder ‘Dax’ finally completed the move from Kaizer Chiefs this week.

“Yes Musonda is still with me, I’m very happy because he’s a very professional player, and about Dax he is also a very good player,” Soccoia said after their 1-0 victory over Maritzburg United on Wednesday night as reported by KickOff.com.

“I’m happy when I have many good players because it becomes easier for me and the team,” added Soccoia.

The French coach spoke about his first victory in the Absa Premiership against the Team of Choice.

“Yes yes, very happy with the win, especially to win away against Maritzburg United that plays good football. It’s very good for Black Leopards as it was our first league win of the season, it’s a good boost ahead of our next game,” explained Soccoia.

“I can’t say we had a good game, Maritzburg United dominated the match, but we showed character, I’m happy,” concluded Soccoia.
