Leshabela was recently promoted to Leicester City’s first team ahead of the new campaign, as they look to challenge for major honours in the English Premier League next season.

Ntlhe on the other hand, only just joined English League Two outfit Scunthorpe United after spending two seasons with Rochdale. The 25-year-old was once in the books of Peterborough United under the tutelage of Manchester United great Sir Alex Ferguson’s son, Darren, between 2011-2016.

It was Leshabela’s side that emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win, courtesy of new signing Ayoze Perez’s solitary strike, as the Amajita attacker featured for 66 minutes, with Ntlhe playing the entire 90 minutes for the Irons.

The 2015/16 English Premier League champions have friendlies lined up against Cheltenham, Cambridge, Stoke, Rotherham, Atalanta and Nice as Brendan Rodgers’ side prepare for the new campaign which begins at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, August 11.

United began their UK pre-season schedule on a winning note, registering back-to-back victories, as they swept aside Guiseley 2-0, before thrashing Bottesford 4-0.

Both players will be hoping to get regular game-time under their belts in the new term as they try and push for call-ups to Bafana Bafana.
