Pirates wrap up Rustenburg training camp in style

Orlando Pirates has wrapped up their pre-season preparations that took place in Rustenburg in style, bagging two friendly wins against National First Division clubs.

The Buccaneers started off their preparations against TS Sporting who were given a 4-0 hammering this past weekend with a bang, and a great confidence booster ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Nedbank Cup champions TS Galaxy were the last stop before the Sea Robbers made their way home, beating them 1-0 in what was described as a ‘sterner test’ compared to their counterparts TS Sporting.

Heading home on Wednesday, the Soweto giants have had a successful preparations that gave the technical team a great chance to work on integrating new players into the team’s setup.

The Buccaneers are set to make their way to the Mother City for three more friendly matches before they kick-off the most anticipated pre-season tournament, the Carling Black label Cup against arch-nemesis Kaizer Chiefs on July 27 at FNB Stadium.
