Billiat did national duty for Zimbabwe at the Africa Cup of Nations recently, but they were sent packing as early as the group stages.

Meanwhile, Soccer Laduma has reported that Moroccan club Raja Casablanca are very interested in signing Billiat as his individual performance has attracted other clubs out there.

Casablanca’s technical director Fathi Jamal has been in Egypt on the lookout for new players.

“Khama Billiat will be back for the Carling Black Label Cup. He is one of the players that is being voted for by the fans to start in the match against Orlando Pirates,” said Soccer Laduma.

“Khama has been given permission by the club to enjoy a break after what has been a busy last few weeks for him. After the season ended, he went straight to the Zimbabwe national team for the COSAFA Cup, and after that he went to the AFCON,” Soccer Laduma added.

“He is a human being also, and he needs a break at times. Khama is not the kind of a player who will go AWOL or do things like that. If he was asked to go and train (after coming from AFCON) he was going to go without asking for a break. Fortunately, he was given permission to take a break and he will be back soon,” Soccer Laduma concluded.
