Nigeria and Cameroon, two of Africa’s most successful teams face off in an epic titanic clash for a place in the quarter-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday night.

The Super Eagles were surprisingly beaten 2-0 in their final group game by tournament debutants Madagascar, as the islanders finished top of the group.
The Indomitable Lions on the other hand also finished second in their group after they were held to a goalless stalemate by a stubborn Benin side in their last group game.

Clarence Seedorf’s charges will go into this tie hoping to improve their record against Nigeria. In 22 previous meetings, the defending AFCON champions have only triumphed on four occasions.
