Reasons why people always eat junk food

Finally! It’s Wellness Week, we are reminded that we need to stay healthy at all times. We all have that tendency to be eating unhealthy food whenever we are in our offices.

Most of the time people eat a lot of Junk food, things like fries, burgers, pizza, chocolates and sweets. They just go for fast food, as they don’t get enough time to prepare a lunch box. Here are many of the excuses for eating junk food that we come across

1.Healthy food is expensive: When something is expensive it doesn’t mean it is healthy, there is also expensive junk food.

2. Time: A person will tell you that they don’t have time to pack their lunch, you can also be prepared at night before you sleep, just like preparing school lunches for your kids.

3. I don’t want to miss out: When seeing someone eating some chocolate or cake you also want some, you want to have the same taste.

4. I can’t work while having a sandwich: Most people rather eat biltong’s and chips, as they believe are not messy when eating them while you are working.

It is a good thing to have a well-balanced diet, fruits and vegetables are good for our bodies. A person must eat fruits or vegetable every day like the old saying goes an apple a day keeps the doctor away and include carrots or potatoes when cooking supper.
