Three people have been arrested following the brutal killing of two Durban Metro police officers outside an ANC counselor’s home.
The Metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad has confirmed that the three suspects have been arrested on Thursday.
“The three suspects were arrested in the KwaMashu area. Firearms were also recovered,” Sewpersad said.
Sewpersad said that he will provide more information on the arrests when it becomes available.
Reports came in on Tuesday night after the two officers were shot in Phoenix, the male officer was inside the police van and the female officer was shot on the road.
The two officers were assigned to protect Moses Zulu’s house, a Durban counselor.
