Motaung has taken a diplomatic stance over the possibility of an early axing for Hendrick Ekstein.

Pule’s situation has dominated the headlines for several weeks, with contract negotiation understood to have hit a brick wall after Chiefs’ two-year contract renewal offer fell some way below his expectations.

Asked whether this could be a possibility, Motaung refused to divulge any information regarding the rumours on the player’s future prior to releasing official club statements.

“The club will make proper pronouncements on these things. I don’t like gossips, you know, I like to talk officially when I talk,” Motaung tells.
